A pigmented, alkyd-based, multi-purpose primer for use on plaster walls and wood, and as an intermediate coat on primed metal and previously painted surfaces. It suppresses stains, has outstanding adhesion, high opacity and easy sanding. Can be used under both acrylic and enamel Wood & Metal topcoats. Formulated without lead.

Surface to be painted must be free of all loose material such as dust and peeling paint. The surface must be clean with all traces of grease, oil and dirt removed. Remove loose material by scraping and sanding. Sand glossy surfaces to a dull finish.
Plaster Walls, New or Previously Painted Wood, Primed or Previously Painted Metal: Apply one coat CS 570 THE PERFECT PRIMER Alkyd Multi- Primer & Sealer.
Stained Surfaces: Apply one or two coats CS 570 THE PERFECT PRIMER Alkyd Multi- Primer & Sealer.
Ferrous Metal: Must be primed. Use CS 568 THE PERFECT PRIMER Alkyd Rust Primer, following label directions.
Stir thoroughly before and during use. Apply by brush, roller or spray. Thin 5% with white spirits. Do not apply when air or surface temperature is below 10OC or when the humidity is high. Drying times are longer under cool/moist conditions
Clean brushes and equipment with white spirits.
